Anxiety
Anxiety is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be mild or severe. It is a response that everyone will feel over their lifetime.
For example, you may feel worried & anxious about an exam, having a medical or job interview, or feeling that someone doesn't like you. During times like these, feeling anxious can be perfectly normal.
Average number of sessions: 8 - 12.

Anxiety affects everyone differently & some find it hard to control their worries & are constantly reminded of things that they fear or find upsetting & this often affects their daily lives. Anxiety is the main symptom of several conditions, including:
A specific condition, generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) is a long-term condition causing anxiety about a wide range of situations and issues, rather than 1 specific focus.
People with GAD feel anxious most days & struggle to remember the last time they felt relaxed. One anxious thought may be resolved only to have another replace it.
