If things have been feeling a bit much lately?
Maybe your confidence has taken a knock, your mind won’t seem to switch off, or you’re constantly overthinking things. You might be managing on the outside, but inside it feels like a bit of a struggle.
And it can be hard to explain — you just know something doesn’t feel right.
You don’t have to keep feeling this way.
“It felt like she really understood what I was going through.”

A Different Approach
My approach is based on solution-focused hypnotherapy — but more importantly, it’s about helping things start to feel easier again. We don’t spend lots of time going over the past. Instead, we gently focus on what’s been going on for you and how things can begin to shift.
Sessions combine practical, solution-focused coaching & psychotherapy conversations with hypnotherapy — so you’re not just talking about things, you’re actively moving forward in a way that feels natural and achievable.
I’ll explain how your mind works in a down-to-earth way, helping you understand how you've got where you are, so things start to feel easier to handle. It’s not about digging everything up or trying to “fix” you — it’s about helping things make sense and creating change that feels natural and lasting..
There’s no pressure, no judgement — just a calm, supportive space where you can begin to feel more in control & more like yourself again.
“Sue explains things in a way that just makes sense.”

About Me
I’m Sue, & I own The Willows Hypnotherapy.
Before I ever did this work, I spent over 30 years in busy, demanding environments, juggling work, family life & everything that comes with it. I’ve raised two sons, experienced the ups & downs that come with family life, & navigated my own challenges along the way.
Like many people I work with, there have been times where things have felt overwhelming, where confidence has taken a big knock, sleep hasn’t come easily, and life has just felt harder than it should.
Those experiences are a big part of why I do what I do now. They mean I don’t just understand this from a professional point of view — I understand how it can actually feel. I know how easy it is to keep going for everyone else, & at some point realise you need a bit of support yourself.
And if you visit in person, you may meet Willow, my very relaxed (& very popular) four-legged assistant.
“Sue has extensive knowledge of how and why you feel and think like you do.”
Thinking About Reaching Out?
You don’t need to have everything figured out before getting in touch.
If you’re thinking this might be the right time to get some support, you’re very welcome to reach out — whether that’s booking a call or simply asking a question.
“From the very first chat, I knew I was in safe hands.”
